The Challenge
The team at Valtech were used to the complexities of managing multiple projects but needed flexible additional capacity and skills to bring their client’s projects in on time and on budget. The gaps they needed to address could be resolved with additional specialist frontend and backend engineers. To address this challenge they needed to find a way to leverage this extra capacity without impacting the quality of work or creating new problems to overcome as a result of increased operational complexity.
Aware of our expertise around enterprise architecture and performance optimisation Valtech were keen to talk to us to explore the solutions we could offer. Our certified team have proven expertise delivering performance optimization for millions of online users, building on our deep knowledge of Sitecore CMS and .NET.
The Solution
We worked in complete partnership with Valtech, embedding our team within their business to provide the extra resources they needed to complete projects on time. Our team included engineers with specialist knowledge around the development of content management systems (CMS) such as Sitecore and non-CMS based projects based on .NET technology. While we worked closely with in-house teams, we also delivered some projects independently.
Some of the support we provided included the provision of technical consulting, review of enterprise architecture and website performance optimization, website development, optimisation and support and overall project management.
The Results
We have developed a strong partnership, delivering over 20 projects together with combined technical expertise. We have been able to add significant value with specialist knowledge and, over the time we have worked together, Valtech have enjoyed customer sustained growth. We have achieved this success together retaining an agile approach to management and a complete willingness to deliver end-to-end code development.
